Finally found my first silver. Undated, heavily worm standing liberty quarter. Then next hole 1919 wheatie. A little while later a buffalo nickel, heavily corroded. A cool button and a unidentified white piece. Any input on what it is would be awesome. IMG_2688.JPGIMG_2689.JPGIMG_2690.JPGIMG_2691.JPGIMG_2692.JPGIMG_2693.JPGIMG_2695.JPGIMG_2696.JPG

Congrats on a special first silver!!!!!:occasion14:

The white thing is called a Hem Weight. They were usually made of lead and used to keep the hems on a ladies dress straight. I understand that they were also sewed into the hems of drapery.
Congrats on your first silver. People have gone for years of metal detecting without finding a Standing Liberty Quarter

Nice finds. You are in a hot spot. Love the SLQ's. There is bound to be more.

Yea I plan on going back. Has to be more around. This was a hour dig. This site is huge.
Also thanks for the ID on the gen weight!

Congrats on your first silver and a Standing Liberty Quarter at that.

Nice job. 😁 Not 100% certain, but I believe the white object is a lead curtain/drapery weight.
