The county Fair ended 2 weeks ago. I have been finding lots of clad. Mostly on the surface. I went back today and started digging some of the deeper signal I have passed over. Found a 1939 Merc and 1950d Roosevelt dime. 3 Wheats a 30, and 2, 27's. I have only been MD'ing since the end of June, and I have found over 700 coins and 2 silver rings.

great finds ! your doing fantastic ;) congrats

Good job on the silvers and wheaties :)

700 coins since the end of june is ok...if you hunt 3-4 times a week and have some nice heavy traffic spots...you will probably pick that up quite a bit. But remember everything is time spent and location...as well as learning your detector.

Sounds like you are doing something right! Keep up the great work.

Best o' luck to ya

Looks like you've got the hang of it. That's not a bad haul at all.

See I told you the XLT was a good machine when I sold it to you ;D

Also, I now know why you didn't want to take me to the fairgrounds when I was there in June :o

Anyway, Lil brother, congratulations on the first silver.

Nice silver's, where are the pictures of the 700 coins and two ring's, I don't think I'm the only one who would mind seeing that haul :) HH

Nice job...don't ya love how they come out of the ground!

That reminds me of what Curly Howard said on a 3 Stooges episode as Moe and Larry were digging up stolen gold coins and bonds:

"Aint nature wonderful!"
:D

Nice job, hope there's more!

Nat

Great job! It sure looks like you have the detecting stuff figured out!
