First sidewalk tear-out was a home-run!

Yesterday I spotted the first sidewalk tear-out of the year. It was a small section about half a block long. Found a Babe Ruth badge from 1935. It was a Quaker Oats premium. Pin on the back is long gone. Also found a mystery nickel, probably a V.

Also a few other digs from other sites dug the past day or two. Small ornate handle is silver.

With it missing the pin and having been in the dirt for 85 years its lost what little money it would have been worth. Its a treasure to me though :icon_thumleft:
 

I agree Im glad.I love stuff like that I dont think Ive seen anyone find anything Bebe Ruth lol Super cool . GO BLUE lol That silver handle is sweet also.

Listen to A2coins. Some collector will pay big bucks for the Babe Ruth token. keep a copy of that paperwork also.
