I haven`t posted for quite awhile because I have not had many decent finds for awhile. I have not had any problem getting permissions, but very few have
panned out this year. The last few hunts I hit permissions that had already got hit and all I got was the leftovers!
The shield nickel was a complete surprise, when it came out of the hole it just looked like any other nickel I been digging lately, rang up 12-13 like normal and
I had no clue what it was until I flipped it over and seen the shield! This was a very pleasant surprise as I never thought I would ever see one of these in one of
my holes here in Minnesota!
The yard I got the indians in and the skeleton key I also got two V nickels including my oldest on yet, 1889!
Gonna keep plugging away, never know what may surface next.
