Yes! An awesome 1888 Seated Liberty dime with the liberty on the shield readable and a 1954D Roosevelt dime bringing the silver coin total to 54. I know the Pastor at an old church and was able to get permission. God was good to me today!

What a blessing! Congrats on a great find!!!

That's a real beauty of a seated! Great find

sweet and awesome!

I'm jealous! I don't have too many places around here with enough history to be hiding a seated coin. But when I'm hunting one of those areas trust me I am aware of the potential and it's exciting. Congrats on such a nice find.

Congrats on that Sweet Seated Silver !! Still looking for my second here, not giving up yet =D

Nice work, and congrats on your first seated dime! Be careful about wiping your freshly dug silver coins with your finger while there is still dirt on them.

Best Wishes,

Buck

Nice silver coins, especially the Seated Liberty.
Congratulations.

Unfortunately the minor scratching came from the gravel it was in, about 2 feet from a sidewalk.

LOL... My friend "Eagle Eyes" at work looked at the coin and told me it is a 1883, not a 1888. We took it under a huge lit up magnifying glass and sure enough, it is a 1883. It sucks getting older.

It rang up 16 45, it did fluctuate some like down to 9 44 but was generally higher than normal. It was scratchy too. I have had mercs ring up high and be really scratchy, almost to where you wouldn't want to dig it. But like the old saying, dig everything, especially if you are in an old area.

Nice digs and thanks for the pictures

congrats on first.I know it had to put a smile on your face.

Nice to "have a seat" huh! Congrats

YOU FOUND A NICE ARTIFACT!! Keep searching!!!
