Hi. Hope all is well with everyone...

Was out last saturday at a old gold mining camp in northern California with my deus...

Had a 43 on the vdi thought it was like every other little bullet casing, dug down about 4 inches and out popped a 1.2 gram nugget!

Very next hole about 5 feet away I got a 91 vdi dug down about 6 inches popped out a coin ball and there she was my very first seated coin!!! 1841 seated dime o mint mark and in really good shape...

Dang! You can't beat that! Thanks for sharing. Beautiful finds.

Man that’s fantastic. A seated dime is on the bucket list for me for sure. Good for you!

What a great couple of finds, grats to you and thanks for postin'!

Pro Tip - You will get a more accurate weight reading on the nugget if you don't include the seated. I found that out the hard way. :laughing7: jk

Seriously though, nice finds. Covered the target conductivity spectrum there from gold to silver.
