Well it was good to get out, the ground was soft here in Nova Scotia today so digging I went. And glad I did, some beauty's. Coppers a mostly smooth but still cool to find, and the four pence shocked me as I'd never heard of a four pence. Now I know lol. I love the knife, not sure what handle is made of but its from an early 1800s site so can't be plastic. Also some nice dandy buttons too. Well I will post more when I find more. Thanks.

Looks like it might be mother of pearl on the knife. Nice finds! Which variety is the 1859 cent? Some are quite valuable.
