Yes sir...That is a artifact..It's a celt...and a realy nice one too...Not real sure on value I have never found one or bought one.I would think at least a 150.00..but there are some good folks here that will be able to tell ya more..Congrats on a great find.

Nice celt. It is worth what you can get for it, seen them sell for $50 to $150....

Looks like a celt from what I'm learning. It would be worth what you and the buyer agree upon imo.

A celt is like a stone axe. I would keep is since you are the one who found it. The value is not that great but the tool is. Congratulations on your find. Go back to that field and focus on arrowheads. Good luck !

Nice Celt. Since it has a tapered poll it's more than likely Woodland. As far as price, you can pick up Celts that size at just about any show or auction in my area for around $25 to $50 each.

I would say $50 too. Needs to be highly polished to fetch $100.
Its a real nice find, I would keep it.
Congrats.

Molly.

Listen to those last few post SRV And TNMountain know what they are talking about for sure!!

Thanks everyone for the responce.I will keep it I was just wondering on value for my own greedy self. I know the pictures are not that great but it real smooth and in perfect shape.

Nice celt like the guy's said above not worth more that around $50.00. I'd keep it that's a nice tool.

very nice celt, is that a shop the pics are taken in? not got a bench grinder in there do ya?
naw just kidding, keep it and start looking for more in that same place...
