Relic Hunting
a friend brought up his detectors and we spent a couple hours in the yard to see what we could find. the house is atleast as old as 1924, but I suspect older given the construction underneath. courthouse burned in the 20's so no other records around. we found a couple bullets, 1 wheat penny, a silver plated lid that said west pocket city, a heavy bronze? pyramid shaped object with a piece of iron sticking out of the back and this which I suspect is some kind of buckle or tightening mechanism for a girth?

WELCOME to the forum! Is this the item you said had a piece of iron sticking out of the back of it? If so, where is the iron; was it attached? Interesting find, Breezie
