first outing with my garrett ace 250

hi all i have just bought a garrett ace 250 from goldfrog and im well pleased with it i went to a friends who has a bit of woodland and found a eley no.12 cartridge,a matchbox super g.t 1985 and some sort of bottle cap

thanks, i was suprised how easy it is to operate i like the different tones and the display is easy to read really pleased with it i wish i had bought one in the first place

You are going to have so much fun,with so much history all around you there must be tons of great places to hunt. I saw a show not long ago about the vikings. They came ashore all around your island,especially along the northern coast,they would attack and pillage monastaries and abbeys that were completely undefended. If you are anywhere near that area I would do some research and have a look around,Im certain they would have dropped some treasure dragging it back to their ships,HH...shoot

very near to where i live is a castle on a beach and these is tons of history i have been told that a few years ago gold was found there so i carnt wait to get down there and see what i can find

Nice! Does the 250 have the bell tone? I had a 350 and loved that bell tone.

yes it does have a bell like sound i like the way it goes from low for iron to a high ping for silver
