First of many postings!! Is this an error coin?

Hello Hello everybody !! Nice to meet all of you - thanks for many many hours of wonderful reading! Thought I would try a posting - the first of many.....

Anyone tell me what's up with this coin? Sorry bout the crappy picture but for your info: its a 1991 and its gold colored.....

I can't really tell from the picture. It could be gold plated or possibly an error. I'd need a clearer closer picture to be of any help. Does it sound and weigh the same as other quarters?

I found a 1992 quarter that I believe to be a counterfeit or wrong planchet error. It is slightly smaller in diameter and thinner than a normal quarter, it is composed of a different material so that it weighs substantially less than a proper quarter, and the reeds on the edge don't line up correctly on one side so that it has a zippered appearance.
