My first finds post. Having lots of fun and finding lots of good stuff with my new Explorer SE. Each day I use it, I find less of the junk and more of the good stuff. So far, I have found 183 coins. 31 wheats. Also found some other interesting stuff too. I've got more detailed pics so maybe I will post another message with those pics. To all of you who have helped me with learning this new machine....I can't thank you enough! Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting. Mike

thanks for all the comments. I went from a whites coinmaster 2500/d to the SE. It was tough at first but after getting help from the guys on the forums and taking my time I am starting to see the rewards. When i first started learning it, i used the 8" coil and dug every signal. Needless to say i dug a ton of junk. I now have a good idea what to listen for and how the machine works so I dig a lot less junk and find the good stuff too with the 10.5 coil. I still have a lot of learning left but I am really enjoying the SE. I hunt in iron mask with ferrous tones and that seems to work for me in my area. Take care and HH.

madmike,

Nice silver finds but the monkey ring looks just like one i dug about 3 weeks ago at Dix hill.

Anyone know anything about it`s origin?

NY and NC are a long ways apart.

Cool finds and i hope you had the tylenol ready for the aching wrist each day when you were done.

Mike, you have been doing some happy hunting :). . . I'm sure there is more to come

Wonderful finds. . . take care,

That's an awesome start, Mike. You're really getting the hang of your SE.

It only gets better. Be sure to go back to your previously hunted sites. You will find more, the better you get.
