Further to my first post I finally got around to taking a couple of pics of my first coin I found about two weeks ago. I was today for a bit and found a German Coin 1943. I've attached a pic of that coin as well. What a great hobby. Only wished I started thirty years ago.

Cheers

Wow! Maybe that was dropped by a German spy...(Wish I was sittin' in a pub in cape Breton right now and listening to some foot stompin' fiddle music!)

on your very first find CaperBoy! My first find was a 1971 quarter. I framed that puppy and have it hanging near my desk.

Great first find.... And to think your only getting started. It's a blast isn't it? You just NEVER know what's coming up....!

Good finds. Congrats. and many more years of digging to you.

Wouldn't that be cool. Lucky to find it. Celtic Colors music festival in the Fall is the time to be here. Fiddles abound at every hall & pub. Ripping good times.

Cheers

Awesome! My dad has a few of those my uncle brought back from ww2, cool finds, congrats!

First coin and first girl, two things I will always remember!

Nice find. I only got about 12 bottle caps and some change BUT IT WAS FUN !!!!! I'm hooked !!
