Had another day off, completed my "Honey-Do" list and brought along one of the older twins, as he recently fractured his foot, is getting bored and needed some time away from the Ponderosa. We both brought along our favorite instruments and had a blast!
Here's looking straight out into the water and ice. We previously stopped at a different place, only to find the ice and snow right up to the tree line. I hunted the beach first, then after getting hot and sweaty, I was ready for a water hunt.
So after about 50/50 on water and on land, this is what I finally filled my pouch with. Lots of junk. This isn't really prime area for a PI, but I did want to use it today and I also wanted to try my new "MONSTER SCOOP" which I recently bought. It's extra large size allowed me to dig less holes.
I did luck out and find one ring with a dark blue stone of some sort. It appears to be gold, but there are no stamp marks on it. I really should get one of those gold testing kits.......
Another darn good day at the beach......now if only that ice would go away!
