I went through $250 in dimes and $25 in pennies today. The results are as follows:
$250 dimes
-1957-1
$25 in pennies (26% copper)
-1957d-2
-1956d-3
-1955-1
-1951d-1
-1946-1
-1945-1
-1941-1
-1941d-1
-1920-1
-1904 indian head-1 (My first indian head penny found in circulation in a string wrapped roll!)
The penny box also had one wheat ender. When I saw the indian head penny pop out of one of the rolls I almost crapped my pants. Who knows what this penny has been through and where it has been in circulation for 107 years. I would grade the penny as VG. The old pennies are still out there; never give up!
