I found a great spot and plopped out these two coins, thought they were just corroded zinc, but holy cow when I cleaned them I jumped up and down. Left is Indian head 1902, right is wheat-back 1937. Very excited! The spot was some kind of dump in the 30's it looks like, Ive found Uranium glass there as well as antique silverware.

Nice!! I love diggin IHP’s. You’ll dig’m all time now that you got the first one out of the way!! Congrats!!!!

Yep I remember my first one back in the 80's and still drive by the spot I found it hoping for another spot to open up. Joe is right. Once you get the first one they come a lot easier.
Grats and good luck down in the springs!

Stay healthy and HH all.

Cool IH, congrats! :occasion14:

Congratulations on your first IHP :icon_thumleft:

Fantastic finds! Now that you have broken the ice, I'm sure many more indians will be in your future!

Big Congrats for your first Indian! I started hunting in 1991, took until 1995 to nab my first (got over 1100 now), so here's hoping that's the first of many!

Congratz...The first is always the best and the one you will always remember!

Congrats on the IHP.
