went out for a while and found my first indian head penny, 1899. also found a pin that appears to be for a delegate for a convention and a 1936 Chief operative Melvin purvis badge from Post Toastie cereal box top giveaway.

Im happy to break that 1900 barrier I've been battling

Congratulations on your 1st Indian head penny! :headbang: at least you didn't scratch yours like I did!

I'm related,so I love the Melvin Purvis badge !!!!!!! Good job :icon_thumright: HH

JJG there are several types of the Melvin Purvis badge.
I think the one that you found cost quite a few more box
tops than the "agent" or "inspector" version. Nice job.

sweet digs, congrats on your first injun

That is one nice IHP! :icon_thumleft: To come out of the ground that nice is pretty good! The ones I get around here are really fried in our acidic soil. Way to go! :occasion14:
