First hunt of the new year yields oldest Chinese coin for me!

According to what I've read, this was minted from 1736-1795. The back is smoothed away. Also found a 1941 wheat and some clad. Cleaning out a field that's yielded a Mercury, chauffeurs badge and a few wheats. Cleaning out trash and getting ready to go deep.

Wow that's crazy. Just the other day my dad showed me a Chinese coin he found in a house remodel. I researched it and it's the same exact coin that you found, Kao Tsung.

Nice find, that's an oldie!
 

Good score on the Chinese cash coin.....which btw is where the term cash comes from.
