Finally got some warmer weather and enough snow melt to do some surface hunting. I brought the camera along and got a few insitu pictures. HH in the new year everyone.

Great hunt and nice pics. 6th pic down looks like there is a broken tip or flake along with the point. I got my fingers crossed for some snow melt this weekend. Need to break these winter blues here in PA!

Thanks Rich, it is, I found two broken tips, one has a needle tip. I'm digging through my brokes right now in hopes of finding a match...mission impossible.

Rich, I only saw the broken tip until I read your post... Maybe that explains my poor results from my most recent hunts.

killer finds,really stoked that you got out.dude you had 2 ft of snow a few weeks ago,how the heck are you huntingyoure the man!i am hoping for the same by sunday,but the snow didnt melt as much as i would like today,kind of bumbed.lol.

Appreciate it dude, I know, I'm surprised to find somewhere to hunt this early. It hit 50 degrees today, just a gradual warm up has exposed some areas to hunt. I walked through a few inches of snow to get to my spot and found the river bank was mostly melted. Cant tell you how nice it was to get back out there after being cooped up for more than a month. Hope your conditions improve for the weekend, good luck.

Not yet. Had a death in the family and have been having to deal with that. May be a couple of weeks before I can get out. I am sure now I will see many foot prints. Thats the way it goes though. At least I get to live through you guys at the moment
