First Hunt of '08 Gives Up Silver & Bronze!!
TXBLUZMAN and I got permission on a 1950s house in San Antonio and decided to hit it hard today. TXBLUZMAN had his new DFX and I was still swingin' my chepo BH. I managed to find a few Lincolns during the morning and a ton of trash. We stopped and had a burger around noon and continued until we both thought we were done. Around 4PM a asked the BLUZMAN "You think I might swing that DFX for a few minutes? I want to check the spots I already hit with my BH." 1st signal...1942D Merc Dime. "I like this thing already" I said. A few more pennies here and there and then the DFX lets out a smooth, solid sound. 4 inches deep and out pops something with espanol on it. Turns out to be a 1945 Mexican 20 Centavos, my first Mexican and bronze coin. It was a good day, and yes, I'm buying a DFX next week .
Thanks TXBLUZMAN!
