Weathers been a little off in Wisconsin but school is finally over which opens up some new hunts for me. I have been waiting to try my new Etrac in an old (1860's start) school grounds and it was worth the wait. This area has been hunted hard since the 70's but it seems to always give up an old coin or two. My first trip yielded 2 Barber dimes, one in really nice shape as well as an Indian a V-nickel a Buffalo and several wheats. Trip two was not as productive but I still found 2 Indians and a V-nickel. Yearly silver total now is at 162 with 200 a possibility. Finding the old stuff is always fun. Wisconsin Digger

Good finds!

162 silver already. That is very impressive. What part of WI are you from.

Nice finds, what were some of the depths of those gems??
