Hello everyone! This is my first post as I'm new to the community. I had a VERY interesting day today. Started the day with a 2 hour hunt just in quad trails behind my PMQ. Within the first 15 mins I found my first find, This little multi tool about 3 inches down in the packed sand, in its vicinity was this eye bolt. After that was a lot of trash and a surprising amount of nails! I removed whatever i found out of consideration for the quader's tires. I then did some geocaching and found a collection of coins of a WIDE variety in a baggie. There were British coins dating to the 60's, Some pesos, dominican republic dimes, and a couple euros. Sorry no pictures of that, I did however leave a hefty chunk of moldavite I had kicking around in their place. Then seeing as there was a town wide historical event going on the girlfriend and I made an afternoon of touring all the museums and historic buildings and the old bell tower completely free! Its amazing the sort of history we drive past every day without a second thought. The experience truly was a treasure in itself. Anyways Im still very new to detecting and treasure hunting in general so any advice or tips are most appreciated, Its an honour to join this community. Thanks!

I noticed this was your very first post - so, welcome Aboard! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting your state for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). ALso, nice finds! Thanks for sharing...

Welcome to TreasureNet and the hobby. Many great finds are yet to come.

Welcome to our community

Welcome to the forum!

That muti-tool looks to still be usable, and the stainless steel eye bolt is worth around $4, so all in all a very productive first hunt, and on the way to paying off your purchase price of your detector!!!

Hi Vorn welcome to the community! Looks like you've had a great start at detecting congrats!

Welcome Vorns..to T-Net, the forums and this great hobby !!
