First Hunt Ever!!

So....been lurking for awhile....this is a really Great site...After reading a bit i bought a Fisher F2..got it yesterday,but worked late and didn't get a chance to try it out...i went out today after work with my wife around a local park.....no great finds, but i got $.74 in clad 2 quarters.2 dimes and 4 pennies........6 pull tabs,4 pieces of old cans,and an aluminum gutter spike....along with a couple of blisters from trying to dig to china.......Woot go me ........it was a really Great time....although the wife got bored......i think this could be VERY appealing to me..........anyway i just wanted to say hello, and Thanks for all the advice i've gotten......even lurking.....this is a really Great site.

If you think that was cool, just wait, it'll get better and better every time you go out.

If there are wooded areas with mature trees at the park you hunt, try hunting those areas, you will be pleased

How where your legs? My first hunt I fell down when my legs got so tired! My wife was scared and laughing at the same time But now I am up and down like a young guy, well maybe not to young a guy
