I was given permission to hunt an early homestead with a long history in the community. I was introduced to the owner and he was super cool about it. He did mention he had another person with a metal detector on the property and he found a 1909 coin and a good assortment of buttons. Here are the finds of my first hunt. No show stoppers but the owner said I'm welcome to come back anytime I like. He's interested in seeing what could be on his property also. Happy hunting!
