First half dollar of 08

My daughter and i went out for a few hours today and hit 3 spots, First was a lot where a house was torn down, second was a tot lot/ballfield, and third was a church playground. Found a few coins where the house was torn down, but this may have been hit already by some of the local guys. Went to the tot lot/ballfield and also found a few coins. The highlight was getting permission to search the church playground where we found quite a bit of coins including the half dollar. This is my daughter first half dollar find and she was glowing from ear to ear. total for today was 1 half dollar, 8 quarters, 12 dimes, 2 nickels, and 28 pennies!!!!

awww....congrats to her on finding her first half. looks like a pretty good pile o loot.

i also found a clad half today, a '77. i almost never find clad halves. tell your daughter to keep up the good work.
