These finds are all of the good stuff I dug at the same site for the past couple of months. Just figuring out how to post. Obviously found some old stuff, some Ive identified other not so much. Rifle butt plate-not sure which weapon. Haven't found any old coins compared to some of the old relics. Any info on butt plate is welcome. Thanks for looking!

Looks like some nice little buckles there. Maybe you should repost the buttplate picture a little closer up and I'll bet you get an ID on it. Nice finds!

Nice finds! Your spout looking object is a valve off a gas lamp. Also that spoon handle looks older than your other finds.

Nice finds.

Your shoe buckle is very nice (3rd quarter of the 1700's).

Your trefid spoon handle is VERY early. Likely 1680-1710.

Nice relic finds and some silver! Congrats!

I didn't even notice the shoe buckle. I agree... your on a very early site that has seen human habitation for a long time. There's the possibility of finding some old coins there.

good finds.I would be pretty exited about that place

Yup, I thought of that after I sent it! Thanx, I'm going to give that a try.Cannonballguy is quite knowledgeable about this thing,as are a group of others on TNET

Wow love those buckles . I'd bet somebody has cherry picked that place if your not getting a lot of coins. Are those wheats in pic? Are u in woods or fields? I'm fairly new to hobby so please don't mind my questions. Seems like people are metal detecting all over nowadays so to find a place that seems to be untouched is great. Nice but plate as well .
