I'm normally hunting San Francisco but due to the lock down and restrictions I have not hunted the city in over 3 months. I've been hunting the local tot lots with
not any finds worth posting. Today I finally had a chance to dig some older coins. The first place was an old church that I received permission. Dug out a 1937 buffalo
nickel and a 1898 Indian head penny from the church front. I then headed to the pacific coast to hunt the cliff tops. I had found silver coins there before so I gave it
another try. With my wife watching I dug out a 1940 merc! Also dug 9 wheat pennies and a silver earring. I actually don't wear a mask when I hunt...I think it's a joke...
