I promised to slow down this year but I've only taken 3 days off. But I am going 1 1/2-3 hours only.
Anywho. So many stories. I'll be brief.

The smaller ring came in just like a small gold ring. I've found many in the foil range. It has no markings and is a light color which the foil sounding rings look like quite often. It passes the 14k test so I'm counting it.

I was getting tired after a couple of hours and headed back to the car. I was about 100 feet shy when someone parked next to me. I didn't feel like talking to anybody so I stopped and turned on the detector. The first hit was this nice looking 10k ring. Lucky me! I don't know what the stone is. Maybe someone can help with that.

Nine rings on the year. 3 silver, 2 gold and 4 crapola.

Thanks for looking. =)

ONE THING , ONE THING , LEADS TO ANOTHER. NICE RINGS.

Very nice outing on the Gold! And A double!

Thanks for the link Casper! So many gemstones. I looked and looked. It might be some sort of cats eye. I'll need an expert to look at it. It's slightly translucent and I can vaguely see some parallel lines. Brownish gold in color.

Also I have more verification that the smaller ring is real. You can't see them in the pic but there are teeny tiny diamonds in the X's of that ring. They tested real.

Thanks again for the excellent link!
