I love this place, and my Jeep seems to go on auto pilot to there often:laughing7: Got the usual clad, and some pull tabs, and some junk, then out of nowhere this ring:hello2: It is not marked, but it rang up in the gold range for sure!!! Could be first gold, if not..............oh well had a good time8-) 101_7005.JPG101_7008.JPG101_7010.JPG

Hi: Good Job. We don't find to much at our Park/ Fairgrounds. There is a Canadian team of detectorists that come down and usually cover it pretty good. I'm thinking of planting some old Roman coins there to let them find and see what happens HA HA .

Came out of the ground(3-4 inches) just like that!!! No corrosion, no dirt no nothing, clean and sparkling!!!

Looks good in the pic, but bring it into a jeweler or pawn shop. They'll usually check it for you.

Don't get your hopes up.... Is it heavy in the hand or light..? Since 1906 its been a law to mark precious metals with the metal and its purity... So either its pre 1906 or its from another country or its costume Jewelry... I hate to crash your party but you should know, I'm going with plated costume jewelry. Still should get it tested just in case.

Keep @ it and HH !! :hello2:

Very light, probably not gold. Had a good day regardless
