I have been hunting for 4 years now and never found a gold ring. Today that finally changed. I went hunting with fellow Tnetter GOIO at a park in Hammond In. I got there first and went to work. My first good tone was at about 9 inches so I went to digging. Well at the bottom of the hole was a nice shiny gold ring. I got it out and saw Greg driving up. I walked over and showed it to him. We cleaned it up and looked at the hallmarks. A crown, an 18, an anchor and a small b in a shield was looking back at us. It also had a nice diamond in the center with what look like either rubies or garnets on either side. I was a happy camper. Since I have started using the Fisher F75, my finds have been nothing but stellar. TMAN...

Awesome fine, Congratulations on your First Gold Ring find. I know if you keep using your F-75 you will be finding more Gold.

I just got mine this spring and have done very, very well with it. One time while hunting with my partner, I set my detector to jewelry and got a really deep signal and very faint. To my surprise, because I couldn't get a depth on the signal, I dug it anyway just to see what it was. It was a nice gold bracelet. Don't be afraid to dig those iffy signals, you just never know what your going to dig up. I guess that goes for any detector, Dig some of those iffy signal and see what pops out of the ground.

TMAN!
That's a beaut of a gold ring!
Very unique in design also.

Do you by chance use SunRay's inline probe? When I first got an F-75, the probe was not available.
I sold my machine opting to go Minelab beacause of it. I found the F-75 very capable however.
