First gold ring, last minute silver saves the weekend

Found my first gold ring this weekend at a house built in 1900. Cheap 18k plated but gotta start somewhere.
Didn't find anything else of real value at that place. Sad thing is that the owner tells me their dog dug up a mercury dime but we couldn't even find a wheat penny!

Went to another site that has produced 21 wheats and a couple silvers the last week. Best we could do there was a Sacagewea dollar. So Sunday we didn't plan any Metal Detecting outing but did a little bit after working at my moms. Found silver when not even trying.
