Detected this weekend in the local lake and at an old park. Found a old race car in the water. Found my first gold ring at the park. Anyone have an idea of the age of the ring. Just says 10k ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1443455014.124731.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1443455033.174056.jpg

That ring looks old! Show us a better pic of the engraving, an up close pic. I want to see if it is hand engraved or made by a machine. Looks hand engraved, but I can't quite tell.

That car is just killer, you usually don't see the white tires. Nice find.

You got good stuff this weekend! Congrats,

Here are some closer pictures. Found the ring in the same area I found a 1872 shield nickel last monthImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1443459541.665236.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1443459585.031771.jpg

A very nice gold ring.I like the way it was engraved.Congrats on your firs gold ring.

THE RING IS NICE BUT SO IS THAT OLD TOY RACE CAR .

WOOOOO-HOOOOOOO! Congrats on your first gold ring! What a super hunt. :occasion14:

After some research, I think the ring is a Victorian cigar band ring from the 1890's. But I could be wrong

can you give a pic of the K mark - sometimes it can help with age
Awesome find no matter if old or new
I personally like the older ones

Could be wrong, I would guess the ring from the 70's or 80's. Etching was popular then to make them look fancy and flashy.

Nice ring. The old car could be a "Tootsie Toy" car. Those are cool finds. It should say on the underside.

Thanks for the additional pic. I looked at the cigar band rings, maybe, but I am not sure. I am sure that it is a really nice piece. I think that it is hand engraved. If the images are not exactly the same, then most likely hand made. Again, congrats... you can tell I really like it.

Each of the engravings are a little different. So I think they are hand engraved. Here is a picture of the k mark.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1443543602.060301.jpg

Victorian / Edwardian vintage re-pop or real antique wedding ring...
Your toy car isalso very cool...
It is IMO...
A "land speed car".
