Well I finally got out for a bit after work this evening. I have been spending most of my detecting time with the F-75. I decided to make the best of a nice day and hit the beach. I was rewarded with a nice gold ring in my scoop! I love the way they look as the sun shines brightly off of them in the scoop. It is 5.7 grams of 10K with Black Onyx and Diamond. I also picked up a few coins nearby including one 1940's wheatie.

Good Hunting!
Steve

Dear Golddiver:

After finding the shotgun brass, did you pause to wonder who likes roast seagull?

I must say it didn't really cross my mind :D. There used to be hunting clubs at my local beaches in the early 1900's, so I have dug hundreds upon hundreds of shotgun brass, they sound just like gold!

Wow Steve, I have been so busy trying to clean out that area where they pulled up the the old deck at my favorite beach I haven't been out in the water yet. That is one nice ring. Hope it means this is going to be a good year for gold. frogsmile

I am hoping the same thing. It was only my second real water hunt this year. Last year it took me ALOT of work just for two gold. Alot of beach was sanded in all summer. I did pull out some old silver stuff though so it wasn't all bad.

Talk to you later,
Steve
