First Gold of the Year with Diamonds at Ft. Lauderdale Beach!!

It seems like since last October, everyday I had to hunt, the ocean was to rough. The few times I was able to get out, I got skunked.

Pulled into the parking lot at Ft.Lauderdale beach at sunrise. Went to put some dollar bills in the meter machine, and it spit my dollar bill back, then came another, plus it gave me an extra hr on the meter! I knew this was gonna be the day!

Got in the water and it was full high tide, so I just waded the trough(didn't use mask and snorkel today). First ring I found was a silver looking ring, no markings but I think it's either stainless or tungsten.

Next I heard a faint signal and took a scoop out, checked it again and they signal was good. This sucker was deep, musta took 3-4 large scoops to get it out. It was a mens 14k white gold with 7 diamonds! Checked the diamonds out as soon as I got home, REAL!! . Ring weighs 5.7dwt/8.9grams.

Finally broke the ice for this year!! Thanks for looking!

Dave & Bobbie, my Aquasound won't be done until the middle of this week. I changed my avatar with detector used when I sold my Excal. I've been using a friends Excal for the time being.

I know of the 2 md clubs here in south florida, but I really need some advice on purchasing a good beach md. I wish I had the time to go to the clubs when they meet, but at the moment, that won't happen, so I will have to settle for online forums like this. Feel free to message me here. Thanks in advance.
