It has been BLEAK to say the least in our area. Beach replenishments' have all but killed it for us here (and they are doing one more as I write this.... down in Sandbridge)but there are a few lucky pulls happening from time to time and I got mine today. There was next to nothing out there pretty much. The ring was my 3rd tgt and it rand up as a solid 7 to 9 on the EQX. Strange markings inside. there is what looks like a L and an incomplete S maybe? Or if turned upside down it could be russian letters or something? Not sure. Also has a ".32" on it as well. I'm guessing that is the size of the stone and it is deff real! The diamond tester all but lept into the green and started beeping! The metal tests at 10K, 2.2 grams.......14K acid starts to lift off the mark.

Not a bad pull (finally) for the first ring of the year.

Good luck all!

Beautiful save, Doc! Hide it from your female relatives. Admit nothing. :laughing7:

Good idea! My wife does get first choice on anything I find. She's not a big fan of the marquis cut so it will stay in the gold pile till I sell or scrap it.
