First fur trade silver broom maybe?

Found near the river, and alot of Indian activity within the area, so is it fur trade possibly? It is marked Sterling

Doubt it’d be marked sterling if it was a native trade relic….
But nice find anyway

The old items would not have been marked sterling, so it's probably 19th to early 20th century.
