First finds with my DFX

Finally had the chance today to get out with my new DFX I got for Christmas. The penny is a 1945 wheaty which happens to be the first coin dug with this detector so maybe that a good sign! The musket ball on the left was also dug today. I took it to someone who hunts relics and he says it's from the revolutionary times. If that's the case it's my oldest find to date. Let me know what you think.

The first hour or so of hunting I spent was a little frustrating since my previous machine was a Classic III+
I have allot to learn and I'm taking it slow and having fun. I'm not gonna burn myself out trying to learn the DFX in month.

Nice looks old. He could be right. Depends on size. Great choice on a detector. The dfx is a finding machine. I have been using it for a long time and it is awesome. These sure won't be your last finds. You just introduced yourself to a whole new treasure hunting life.
