So finally posting my first find. Thanks to Patrick from The Vulcan Treasure Society that let me try his Fisher Gold Bug and got me excited into Metal detecting. Here my finds

The infamous zincoln. They will rot if they get close to dirt.

I've even heard of zincoln proof sets decaying in their plastic due to humidity. They are truly badly made coins. Oh and they cost 1.5 cents each to make. Crazy huh.

Nice first find. I remember when I first started, I heard my very first target, and dug a wheatie. Then I said, "hey, this detecting thing really works" .
