Hey all, I have been lurking,s but one of my resolutions is that I figured out how to resize pics to post here. Winter is mild here so far, so hope this keep those of you further North going till Spring. I mostly hunt parks, schools, playgrounds. Strangely enough a Kennedy half on first hunt of the year, I found 1 all of last year. Ring was a nice surprise, course they always are, marked 18k (!) -not sure what the stone is, onyx or opal, it was in a playground. Nice start to the year.

Hey Twincapes , Yeah baby ! that ring is oh so kind - With 18k setting , I'm inclined to think

the stone is either opal as you suggested or more likely jade . Opal is not a great choice for

a ring stone , as it's not all that hard . Jade on the other hand is very tough . Either way

You SCORED ! Argentium.

Argentium, I believe you might be right about the jade. It didn't cross my mind because of the gray color. Thanks!
