Hit an old foundation today dating back to the 1800's. I;ve hit it a few times before but still keep finding things. Today I found 2 large cents, one an 1822 the other in rougher shape, clipped and can only read a 3 in the date. I also found a couple of flat buttons, the one without a post reads on the back "Super fine Strong, London".The other pictured is written in cursive and I can;t really make it out, under the cursive is the word stand.

Nice, amazing how one is decent and the other, well, wonder how that happens...... My nicest 1804 Half Cent was found next to a crappy 1804 Half Cent, that one I have never figured out......

Nice way to start of the New Year, congrats
