Hi , I'm new to metal detecting, and new to this forum, and today it was not to cold so I went to a beach near where I live and I found this. I have no idea what it is but I thought it was interesting. I'm wondering if anyone knows what it is. Thank you!

Hi and welcome to the forum. It looks like a copper piece of jewelry but who knows for sure. There is another forum on here called what it it? You could try posting it there also. There are a lot of folks who would probably know right off what it is. Good luck out there.
