Nice, eagle I know you have lot's of finds coming your way. Good luck and HH.

Put that five cent piece up and allways look back on it.

Congrats on your first !! What machine are you using?? Full speed ahead now man!! I was an addict after my first dime! Lol
Awesome start man only gets better and more intense! Research !!! Research !!! Research!!!

Bounty Hunter Discovery 2200 I will be out again tomorrow looking for more have to home in on my skills to search for bigger bounty:hello2:

I started with that detector years ago, really good at finding Quarters, now go do some research and hit the old sites!!

Congrats on your first find, mine was well..., you probably do not have to guess by the name that chose me. It does get better the more you swing, best of luck.

Bounty hunter is a great starter machine regardless of type. I remember my first coin... 1974 D lincoln.

Ok here is my question which is the best way to clean your coins you fine or Jewelry?

Congrats on the nickle.
I started detecting about two months ago with a Bounty Hunter Time Ranger and haven't left the yard. I'm up to near about $1 in clad, mostly penny's, three wheats the oldest is 1952, two match box toy tanks, a match box cement truck and whole bunch of scrap. I think this place used to be a dump, but not that old of a dump. Anyway, I'm having fun, learning how to detect and haven't left the property. My yard is getting aerated in the process.

I don't know much about cleaning but I'd like to know as well.

I love this site.

You better watch out, you might catch the FEVER !

Already have it getting ready to go hunt some more right now.:goldbar:

I love finding nickels---it means I'm solidly in the gold range. As far as the piece of fence--those zinc coat beauties are one thing I hate finding. They are usually around because the fencing crew didn't do a good job cleaning up.

Went out to hunt today and it was to clod for me out there low 40s so I can wait for a good day.
