First fall field nets beautiful 1851 Trime !!!!!

Had a good field hunt today. Man this is a tough site I had to empty my pouch twice there is so much trash. But the three cent silver made up for it. Only my second one in 10 years!!!! Got two nice Indians 1875 and 1884 and a 1942 chauffeur badge as well, I was using my nox 600, can't put this machine down!

actually not, when i stuck my shovel in the ground I flipped out a large clod and when I broke the clod in half I saw the small silver rim and my heart started racing!!!! I was praying it was a trime!

Great find, and that Trime is really cool. It also has a very good strike, unusual for 3 cent silvers, as that is why they went to the nickle 3 cent piece. Wonderful find. Congrats.

Thought I found one too today. It turns out it was a Japanese one penny game token the same size and thickness as a Trime. Bummer! Trade ya!
