All Treasure Hunting
Took the Equinox 600 on her maiden beach voyage today for about 3-1/2 hours. I found the watch along with a small coin spill next to a tree, and immediately stuffed it into my pouch. There were a few people watching me, and they were interested in what I had found...a little TOO interested for my liking. :laughing7: One lady asked what I found, and I just said some coins. It turned out to be a little better than bling, but knowing human nature, I wanted to check it out before showing it off.

We have two weeks down here for our winter vacation, and looking forward to getting onto the big Fort Myers beach where they get big crowds this time of year. I look forward to posting our finds as the weeks go on. I have my Bounty Hunter Land Ranger Pro all setup for my wife to try her hand at dry sand detecting with a hand scoop, while I take the Nox into the water for some better finds. Regardless of the treasure finds, it’s better to be detecting in this beautiful weather than the snow and cold back in NE Ohio.

sweet, very nice watch

The deepest find of the day was a soda can at over two pinpointers deep. After retrieving the "weak signal" can, I checked the hole and still had another target. After two handsful of sand, I retrieved the pull tab as well. Crazy...

Nope! Too doggone hot and humid for me in the summer time. I’ll just keep vacationing here in the winter.

Beaches are fun. You never know what's next. People are curious and most mean no harm but when asked, I say few coins and some junk.

Nice finds! That's a nice watch! Congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Glad you had a good time at the Yacht Club....
Good luck on your beach hunts, and the rest of your vacation....
