Well that looks good.Thanks. My son will join the club probably next week.

the south Umpqua is open from the bridge by the Umpqua store down, west of Sutherlin,
some public access, maybe get farmers, land owners permission.
Quartzville creek recreational mining corridor above Sweethome is open.

How does the dredge season look in Oregon this year. My son just bought a Keene 4 inch. Complete with hookah system, dive suit.7mil, hood, reg, booties, the whole works.
Wants to go to chicken alaska, but I said should stop or maybe start in oregon to get his feet wet.
Thinking about the Bohemia mining club, sharps creek.

I have been to chicken AK back in the 80s..... wasn't all that impressed.
He would be better off if he did a little more research.

Thanks all. That is what we are doing is asking questions and see what is going on around the country.
Winners will go check out your link. Great pic of you in the water with your dredge.

At least in Oregon its legal.
And now a days, it is hard to figure out who is and who is not indulging.
I am an electrician and you would not believe how many houses i go in and see what I see compared to the people that live there.
I have even been offered to indulge by the roofers at houses in broad day light when they where indulging while at work.
But all in all that is a nice looking one.

Meh, don't be shy about it, Texas just legalized so that says a lot.

I do have to say though, when looking for hookah diving gear on Craigslist, it gets super annoying to keep running across smoking hookahs that don't list a price or picture and you click it just to make sure. lol

ive seen some nice gold come out of Oregon, been thinking of heading out to try there. North Carolina is getting old. the chicken area has smaller gold mostly -20 and down range, not many nuggets. me and a buddy were gonna go to the chicken area on the 40 mile, but decided against it.

does the Klamith in Oregon produce? It should, since it does in Kommiefornia

Yes I think it does especially in the past, it has a long history of gold production, mostly before the kommies:) I love reading these papers not sure if everyone does lol but if you want to check them out I grabbed a couple.
I'm guessing most the good spots are claimed up but you might find some open spots with some research or maybe someone knows a spot public or private and will send you info. What about the 40 mile area near Chicken Ak:)

I think this is the right district hopefully:

OK, I know this is off topic, but hookahs (as pictured) are NOT used for smoking pot. You use a bong for that. Hookahs are for sisha (flavored molasses soaked tobacco).

alex, that's some good info there, is there any GPAA claims in the Oregon Klamuth area? I cant find my gpaa claim book

did a quick net search, theres a Klamuth falls gpaa chapter, so they must have some claims, but also found out Dave McCraken and the new 49ers has a series of claims on the upper Klamuth

found my gpaa claim book, they have no claims in the klamuth area listed, which is weird, theres ones listed in adjacent counties and a section by quartzville

it's morally wrong to dictate what someone can or can't do with their own bodies, that includes consuming substances.

drugs are a medical subject. the law shouldn't be involved.

those that have a problem with stoners usually are drinkers. I'll take a lazy forgetful stoner over a loud, obnoxious, stumbling, fighting drunk any day.
