First off Happy Easter/Passover to everyone. Hope you all had the chance to enjoy the weekend with the family. Before the house was bombarded by the relatives had the chance to hit a nearby park for a couple of hours. I have taken the Nox to the beach and it has impressed without question there; but, was wondering how it would do at a local park that I have hit with my hunting buddy several times (and we are not the only ones). Park has decent levels of park garbage (pull tabs, crown caps, foil etc.). Was afraid that the 11" coil was going to be too much for the hunt (I typically hit the park with my Racer using the small 5" coil). Park dates back to the 40's and plenty of silver has been pulled from it to give it the "hunted out" type of status among local dirtfishers.
Well, the Nox impressed me again! This sucker hits DEEP. I had my work cut out for me in digging deep, solid high tone signals. Using Park 1 default settings and even though it was a little chatty with all of the garbage, the Nox absolutely allowed me to cherry pick good signals amongst the trash.
Pics below are only of the Wheaties that I pulled, a junker ring and a nice 44' Merc. Some of the Wheaties alone were 12+ inches down. Looking forward to hitting up all of the other sites on my list that I had crossed off long ago for being "hunted out"
Most of the Wheaties were this deep:

Merc

Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting!
