First dig of the new year.

We are lucking out here in southern new England so far with the ground not being completely frozen just about an inch of frost. So yesterday I headed back to the ink hole. I didn't dig much but I got two keepers. including a smooth base umbrella ink which I'm pretty psyched about. Then second I found the doctor hockers which is kind of weird I've never seen this shape bottle or odd lip before. Then when I was done digging I walked the river back to my car and that's when I found the shoulder embossed new haven bottle. All in all not a bad way to start the year. I would say so. The lip is really funky it's like a double collar blob.
