I found this nice 1947 quarter in a local park that i had written off as hunted out. Amongst the pull tabs and iron i got a nice hit that bounced between 81 and 83. The depth on the v3i said it was at 9.5" so i decided to dig. The actual depth was somewhere between 11"-12". I have been over this same patch with my mxt half a dozen times and it never saw the quarter. I think this is probably due to the dd coil. Finding this coin totally reaffirmed my choice of the v3i for a deep silver machine. Thanks for looking!
