First Dectecting Day Ever - With an Ace 250

I just thought I'd share for anyone interested. I've never been out before, but yesterday I got my ACE 250 in the mail. After having it not pick up any test runs, I saw that the battery was low (I bought it used). I put new batteries in and it worked like a charm. It was getting late so I just walked to a nearby park. Not a good place to hunt because the part was only about 3 years old.

Anyways, it really picked up a lot, but I need to practice my pinpointing. A lot of popcans showed up as dimes. I found a penny about 6" deep. Found I need to work on my digging skills.

Total Find:
6 popcans
1 thing that looked like a metal toothpaste dispenser
1 piece of metal not sure of what it was
1 Penny

I'll keep you posted as I use it more. I need to also work on my digging more.
