I went out detecting today with Tnet member fella. He picked up a new Whites VX3 and loaned me $350 to buy a new Vaq. We went out to a park in an old town where I grew up, we have hit this park a few times amongst four other of my friends and only pulled a few wheats and a cool ring. Today I pulled a 1895 IH! Thats #4 IH this year! We got bored and went to a private property I got permission to dig and it wound up being full of garbage and dog $h*#! So we went to our last resort sight that never stops producing clad. 1 or 2 wheats but it's been an open lot in the center of a very old (was a big city for the area in the late1800s) town. I dug a horse shoe and then we got lucky! My no good cousin got a merc dime! Then I pulled the oldest coin I ever dug at this sight. A really nice 1900 IH#5! Then he proceeds to hoard all the silver and pulls two barber dimes back to back! A few more wheats between the two of us and before I knew it, it was getting cold and dark
